I've been obsessively watching The Hills this week. Since I stopped watching the show on season 3 or 4, I really don't know; I started to watch it all over again since season 1, in order to refresh my memory, and then I'll catch up. I'm already about to end season 2 LOL. Really, I've had forgotten how stylish The Hills' ladies were, and I'm happy I was remembered because now I have another source of inspiration. This is my first attempt at a The Hills inspired outfit, hit or miss?

By the way, check out my friend's César S. LookBook :) he's a very stylish dude. And also take a look at this stylish bus LOL.

Little out-takes of my life.

I'm sorry this isn't an outfit post, but I haven't had the time for taking some outfit photos. Even now I'm supposed to be doing homework, but here I am :) I wanted to make a post, but didn't want to do an inspiration post because those take me quite some time to do. Looking around editorial photos, another blogs, fashion sites, you know, all that. So I thought, why not share some random pictures I've taken about my random day-to-day? And here they are, I hope this is enough for now and I promise I'll make an outfit post this Friday or Saturday.

Update: the two baby hummingbirds that were in my backyard already flew from the nest :D Noticed yesterday.

Inside her room she paints me blue.

( denim shirt - Pull and Bear, shorts - DIY Sfera cut offs, - sandals - local designer store at León, Gto., Mexico, black bangle - Bershka, wrist watch - Marc Ecko, bracelet - DIY, necklace - C&A, armor ring - Vivienne Westwood, crystal rings - Charlotte Russe )

It's been more than a week since last time I updated, I'm so sorry. I'm not making any excuses, but last Monday I went back to school and you know how that can be. Anyways I wanted to thank everyone that commented on my last post. I've never had that much comments and it made me very happy LOL also everyone were so sweet! Now I'm definitely going to pull out my old hot pink extensions again while I save up money for new light pink ones. On another matter, that's my take on the denim-on-denim trend. Isn't it funny how just last year wearing jeans with a denim jacket was considered tacky and now it's trendy?

Also, there's something I want to share with you...

Isn't that cute? I recently discovered there's a hummingbird's nest on the tree that's in my backyard. There are two little baby hummingbirds, behind the head of one you can see the beak of the other. I wish I could have got closer to the nest to take a photo were you could see both babies, but I didn't want to scare them anymore with my big a*s camera haha. Last year there was a nest but on the tree that's in the porch. I wonder if that could be considered of good luck or something.

Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up!

( dress - Bershka, sunglasses - no brand )

Those are from two years ago, back when I used to wear sunglasses the size of my face, curled my hair with a flat iron, and clipped on hot pink hair extensions. Kayleigh's last post on her blog Kayleighdoscope (visit her! she's a cool gal form the UK) about this summer's hair trend: dying some pieces of your hair in pretty sugary hues; sent me back on the nostalgia train. Now that I look again at these photos I think the extensions looked pretty cool, and I'm thinking of getting some new clips with pastel pink hair. What do you think? Should I or shouldn't I?

She had it all figured out.

(denim shirt - Pull & Bear, shorts - Roxy, white tank and flip flops - Target, necklace - H&M)

While taking the photos it made me laugh how my dog kept getting into the frame in the last second. If you look closely, in the third picture you can see her butt LOL.

S.O.S

(shirt dress - Zara, shorts - DIY Sfera cut offs, sandals - Cynthia Vincent for Target, necklace - H&M, rings - Charlotte Russe, armor ring - gift from a friend, black bangle - Bershka, wrist clock - Marc Ecko.)

I was chewing on the idea of making this blog a little more interactive, and the more I thought about it the more i liked it. So this is how it would work, whenever I make and outfit post I think is too simple, I'll ask you guys to tell me what could I do to make it a little more interesting. What kind of accessories would have looked better, maybe a different kind of shoes would have made a difference, stuff like that. So let's start with this, give me your suggestions. Just keep in mind you have to keep it the clothing very light because the heat can get pretty intense here LOL.

Let's behave like we're tripping simply 'cause we're so in love.

I WANT ALL OF THAT!

I just discovered this brand and liked it a lot. They have super cool pieces, but I liked it specially because of their Obey Awareness campaigns. They have three: Haiti, Adopt-A-Pet and Hope Campaign. Every time you purchase a cute item from this brand you support this three causes. Isn't that neat?

Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above.

(t-shirt - DYI, pants - Zara, necklace - H&M, sunglasses - Bershka, hat - Disneyland L.A.)

Those photos were taken months ago, but I didn't upload them because I got cooler pics of that shirt. Anyways, now I felt like putting them up because while watching Michelle Pham's tutorial video for theme park makeup (I might go back to Disneyland this August, YAY!, so I wanted to be picture perfect this time, and I like getting prepared for everything with plenty of time ahead LOL), I noticed that one of the songs she used for background was a house version of my favorite Disney song of them all, Part of your World. In the video she said it was by Q;Indivi (listen to it here), I looked around for it in Youtube and stumbled upon more house remix versions of plenty of Disney songs, and since I'm such a sucker for Disney I've been stuck listening only that for quite some time now. That brings me back to my original point. Today I was thinking about where to take some outfit photos and decided to better put those up, just because I'm wearing one of the hats I got when I went to Disneyland last summer, and I was being so nostalgic about it. Hey! I might even take some pictures wearing my Mad Hatter's hat as well. Alice in Wonderland, the cartoon version, and The Little Mermaid, are my favorite movies from when I was a kid, and I swear I still like them as much as then. I wonder what that says about me.

So, if you leave a comment please tell me which is your favorite Disney movie, and what do you think that says about you. I like asking people that, dunno why, so I might as well ask it here.

I beat my boyfriend at guitar hero.

I so don't beat anybody at Guitar Hero, I SUCK at it, I just thought the t-shirt was funny. But I totally kick ass in Rock Band, and yeah... sometimes I can be a total geek LOL.
